The digital transformation program until 2025 with a vision up to 2030 in the education sector in Ho Chi Minh City focuses on three major changes, including:
(1) building an asynchronous learning system and an open-source repository of learning materials as the foundation of building a society of learning;
(2) using artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze, evaluate, and orient the industry;
(3) applying blockchain technology in management and verification of grades and diplomas information.
Notably, by 2025, the city’s DOET will make teaching and learning in the digital environment an essential educational activity. 25% of primary and 35% of secondary school programs will be implemented online. By 2030, the city will integrate all education system components into the digital environment.
