Eduten is a gamified Math learning platform that brings a scientifically proven improvement to learning results, student motivation and teacher happiness. It’s used by teachers in Finland, and more than 50 countries worldwide. Eduten’s vast content library has been designed and tested alongside Finnish teachers. Its adaptive AI engine helps teachers to differentiate content to each individual student. In practice, students use Eduten as a supplement to teacher-led math lessons. Think: engaging and meaningful online textbook. Better still, it’s adapted to each individual student and doesn’t require hours of marking or assessment by teachers. Students access the online platform via computers or tablets, log in to their personal accounts and complete exercises that are related to the day’s classroom work. They collect trophies along the way to celebrate their success. They also practice growth mindset learning because they have the chance to correct mistakes easily and without fear or shame. Eduten’s technology has been developed in collaboration with the University of Turku. Therefore, students, teachers and school communities can be assured of Eduten’s rigour and deep scientific testing. Currently Eduten is used in more than 60% of all schools in Finland. Hundreds of peer-reviewed papers have been published about Eduten (known as ViLLE in Finland).
